TMA presented 'Destination Greece' and Argo Travel products to outbound travel agents of Vietnam

Greece as a tourism destination and Argo Travel Asia-Pacific were presented by Travel Media Applications, the publishing company of TravelDailyNews Media Network, to travel agencies of Vietnam. The event was held in collaboration with the Vietnam Society of Travel Agents (VISTA) at the Vietnamese Women's Museum on Friday, July 5.

Mr Stratis Voursoukis presents
Forty-eight of the leading outbound tour operators based in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, attended the presentation of Stratis Voursoukis about Greece and services of Argo Travel Asia-Pacific. Theodore Koumelis, Founder and Managing Director of Travel Media Applications, presented the marketing, communication and sales solutions offered by TMA in the effort to facilitate business between Vietnam and Greece.

Mr Vu The Binh presents
The event was opened by Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of VISTA, who described the dynamics of outbound tourism from Vietnam and the need of Vietnamese tour operators for new products and destinations. According to Mr. Vu The Binh, Greece is one of the most interesting destinations for Vietnamese travelers but there is a great need for further information about tourist products, infrastructure, prices and services.

Mr. Stratis Voursoukis, Director Asia-Pacific of Travel Media Applications and Argo Travel Group, presented themed travel products for Greece as well as Argo Travel's travel packages tailored in travelling needs of the Vietnamese market.

According to data from the UNWTO and WTTC, outbound tourism in Vietnam is growing rapidly in the last decade, reaching from 271,000 tourists in 2001 to 1,700,000 in 2011 with an average daily expenditure in 930 USD. Greece is a favourite destination for Vietnamese with Santorini and honeymoon packages stand out.

Argo Travel Group in cooperation with Travel Media Applications developed and operate the 'Argo Travel Asia-Pacific' as the sales office for the region, based in Bangkok, Thailand.
